The Eikon Exhibition Centre hosted 22,000 attendees for the first edition of Comic Con Northern Ireland this month, featuring a range of cosplay, panels and more than 250 trade stands.
Following the launch event which took place from 17-18 September, Monopoly Events CEO Andrew Kleek said it will go down as one of the most successful comic cons it has hosted.
“The local community have really embraced the event and been very supportive, and we would like to thank them for making this possible through their amazing support,” said Kleek.
Theresa Morrissey, commercial and financial director at the Eikon Exhibition Centre said, “The feedback has been incredibly positive so much so that the organiser plans to return in 2023. We very much look forward to welcoming Monopoly Events back to the Eikon Exhibition Centre next year.”
Eikon has announced that the next edition of Comic Con Northern Ireland will take place from 9-10 September 2023.
