Technology zones
If there’s one thing many trade professionals can agree on, it’s that disorganized trade displays can be a real pain on exhibition day. To keep NPE 2024 easy to navigate, the organizers created five separate “technology zones”. Each one gave attendees the chance to discover the latest product and service innovations for a particular industry:
- Bottle Zone: The largest of the six zones, the Bottle Zone focused on the plastic bottles industry.
- Recycling & Sustainability Zone: This zone showcased new sustainable practices and materials in the global plastics industry.
- Materials Science Zone: Resins and Polymers play an important role in Chemistry and Engineering, to which this zone was dedicated.
- Advanced Manufacturing Zone: This was a special area detailing possibilities that can arise wherever technology and plastics production meet.
- Moldmaking Zone: This area highlighted new solutions for mold designers, fabricators, suppliers, and manufacturers.
- Packaging Zone: The Packaging Zone addressed anything and everything related to plastic product packaging.
International attendees
Roughly 15,000 attendees at this year’s NPE Plastics Show were international registrants, which is a marked increase from previous editions. More than 130 countries were represented, highlighting this trade show’s ever-improving international status.
