Array Technologies solar trade show booth at Intersolar Europe Project Overview

This solar trade show booth for Array Technologies was designed and built by Booth Exhibits for Intersolar Europe in Munich. Array Technologies is a global leader in solar tracking systems used in large-scale commercial solar installations. As their flagship annual event, Intersolar Europe provides the ideal platform to showcase their technology and engage with partners across the renewable energy sector. For the 2025 edition, the company wanted to take a different approach to how their products were presented on the show floor.

Booth Specifications

Location: Messe München, Germany

Stand Type: Peninsula

Size: 128 m2

Client: Array Technologies

The Problem

  • For the first time, Array planned to exhibit without bringing any full-scale tracking hardware, which meant finding a new way to communicate the complexity and advantages of their technology.
  • They required a design with three fully enclosed private meeting rooms, each capable of hosting groups of 10–12 for sales presentations and product discussions.
  • Their booth needed to support product storytelling and structured tech demos all at once.
  • The booth also needed to act as a hospitality hub for 50+ Array team members, including senior leadership, technical experts, and sales teams.
  • As a 1300ft² booth, the space had to attract attention so Array could demonstrate their offerings effectively.

Overall, Array needed a high-impact display that replaced traditional physical product displays with an immersive digital experience, all without losing the emotional and technical impact of seeing hardware up close.

The Solution

Booth Exhibits™ developed a fully digital and experiential approach to Array’s trade show booth. We placed careful emphasis on designing an area aligned to their product display requirements, showcasing their technology without the presence of major hardware.

Key solution elements:

  • Large touchscreen demo stations that allowed visitors to simulate Array’s trackers in multiple geo-environments — snow, desert, high-wind regions, and varied terrains.
  • Interactive displays positioned as central focal points, so multiple conversations could happen at once and reduce bottlenecks, all while other guests engaged with Array’s technology.
  • Three sound-controlled private meeting rooms built into the booth architecture, each fitted with full AV for better sales discussions.

The outcome was an environment that showcased their technology without any physical hardware, while still offering depth, clarity, and engagement.

The Result

The booth delivered a standout presence at Intersolar Europe 2025 and successfully executed Array’s first fully digital product showcase.

Key results:

  • Visitors immediately engaged with the touchscreen demo experiences, which offered a clearer and more scalable way to communicate product performance than physical models.
  • Sales teams were able to run simultaneous meetings across the booth — private room sessions, open-space conversations, and effective demo-led discussions.
  • Client feedback was extremely positive, with the new digital-first product display concept setting a direction for future trade shows.

With the help of Booth Exhibits™, Array made their mark on Intersolar 2025 with a unique trade show booth design. Taking their requests to heart, we built them a successful booth design built on product storytelling and structured digital tech demonstrations.
